January Ipsy MyGlam Bag
Monday confessions: I signed up for another monthly beauty subscription. I’ve been watching Youtube reveals and reading reviews on the Ipsy MyGlam bag for a few months and decided to try it out. The thing that appealed to me about the Ipsy bag is that it seems to be more focused on makeup/beauty products. Ipsy is $10 per month (plus $4.99 shipping to Canada). There is no referral program, but if you’re interested you can go here to sign up for Ipsy.
The January Ipsy MyGlam bag was themed Super Stars. I like that each month they put the products in a different bag. I thought the detail of the stars inside this month’s bag was such a cute accent to go with the theme. And of course the card which includes the products in the bag. Ipsy partners who provide products for the bags each month, also include discounts and coupons for the product which are on the back of the card.
Here’s a quick reveal of all the products that were included this month:
Pacifica Tuscan Blood Orange Mini Body Butter – This body butter smells delicious! The perfect pick me up during these winter blues.
Sexy Hair Spray & Play Volumizing Hairspray – I’ve heard great things about this hairspray so I was really excited to try it. I was pretty impressed! It has really good hold and my hair didn’t feel too hard from the spray. Would definitely buy this (and I’m in a pretty long-term relationship with my current fav hairspray).
Nailtini Straight Up Color Nail Lacquer in Bloody Mary – What a great name for a polish! This was the first time I was introduced to Nailtini. I love their slogan “Shake One Up”.
Josie Maran 100% Pure Argan Oil – I think I was most excited about this product when I saw it was being included in the box! I’ve been wanting to try a Moroccan oil for awhile now, so this is a great opportunity. Argan Oil can be used on your skin or hair for hydration and nourishment.
SOHO ‘Get a Grip’ Crease brush – There were several different brushes in this month’s bag, and I received the Crease brush. I was happy about that because it’s the one I would use the most. It’s got a really great grip that is made for the way your fingers grasp the brush which I thought was genius.
I was pretty happy with my first Ipsy MyGlam bag! Ipsy typically reveals the products in the bag a few days before they ship so you can learn about the products before you receive them. There is also a great online community where you can discuss the products.
Have you tried Ipsy before? What did you think of this month’s bag?
